Vitamins, minerals, trace acids and amino acids all play an important role in weight loss. A person’s appearance and health is greatly dependant on hormones. It is hormones that determine whether an individual gains weight or stays slim. There are certain amino acids that trigger the body to be stimulated in a manner that fat-burning hormones are released in the body. This is not an artificial technique as it is just based on the reactions of the body to fulfill the requirements of the body.
STH
A growth hormone called STH is known for its ability to burn fat. This hormone is produced by the body when an individual sleeps and assists in enhancing the process of oxidation of fat. Protein synthesis in the body is stimulated by this hormone. STH is not produced in normal concentrations in the body of an obese individual, which also obstructs reduction of fat in the body. This growth hormone is quite expensive and is required to be injected into the body only under medical supervision. Thus, it has been concluded that the safest process for the body is to be naturally stimulated to produce these hormones. Amino acids weight loss process is conducted by consuming certain amino acids at night on an empty stomach to stimulate this process.
Amino acids that assist in this process are glutamine, methionine, and arginine. Zinc, vitamins B6 and B12 are also required by the body to secrete this hormone in quantities which are helpful in weight loss.
Carnitine
Carnitine is another hormone and studies have shown that the body of an obese individual might suffer from deficiency of this hormone. It plays an important role in the digestive system and is created in the liver. It is a biocarrier which can be introduced in the body through food supplements. Lysine and methionine are the two amino acids which are synthesized in the kidney and are known to be precursors that stimulate the production of this hormone. Long chain fatty acids cannot be transported through the membrane of the inner mitochondria without the assistance of these carriers. Short and medium chained fatty acids do not need this carrier to pass through this membrane unlike long chain fatty acids that need to be esterified with this hormone.
This biocarrier acts as a fat burner, as it transports the fatty acids quickly so that they can soon become a part of the metabolic furnace. This hormone allows the body to burn fat rather than store it. The process of synthesis of Carnitine requires five steps along with factors like Niacin and folic acid along with Vitamins B12 and B6. The synthesis of this carrier can be hindered if any of these factors is not available.
Glutamine
Glutamine is an amino acid that does not affect the counts of insulin and glucagon and is easily converted to glucose in the kidney. It is one of the amino acids weight loss is boosted through and along with Zinc in sufficient quantities it is possible to burn fats and completes process of lipid metabolism.
